Received zBook 17 G5 Jan28, 2019, started updates, started installing my own software and files, set up HP sure start. Created system restore points as I went along, was unable to connect finger print scanner, was loading drivers then it crashed. Went to system restore but accidentally clicked on first restore point not last, then it wanted me to restart setup process. Crashed during re-setup. Now loads to a white screen via HP Sure Start that says “DESKTOP A4MREFN\defaultuser0” has a list of keyboards and asks for a password but will not accept any password I try.
HP Help told me it needed my password but I am not default user 0 hence there is no password, my understanding is this is an issue with Microsoft operating system being incompatible with HP Sure Start?
HELP! After starting computer HP Sure Start always takes me to the “DESKTOP A4MREFN\defaultuser0” page and as I don’t know password despite trying every combo I can not get past it. The only computer keys that have got around this is Windows key and B, but nothing changes once “BIOS Identity Data Recovered”
