HP Touchsmart Tm2t-1000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community.

My HP touchsmart tm2t-1000 cannot operate with windows 10. When install windows, it starts well and download few updates; then the screen behaves strangely and become completely dark. I tried to repair it many times unsuccessfully. However, the pc work with windows 7. I tried windows 8.1, but it doesn't work either.I don't really know what to do.

Please help me!

As you have sadly discovered, not ALL Win7-era PCs can handle an Upgrade to Win10 successfully.  And while many of them could when Win10 first came out, with each 6-month new release, MS has increased the hardware requirements such that even successfully upgraded Win7 PCs are now failing.

Sorry, but there really is nothing you can do with incompatible hardware other than continue to use the original OS.

You can use it even after MS stops supporting it, as Win7 Security Updates will continue until 2023.

Hello,

Thank you for replying.

After I shared the problem in the community I found out it was an issue related to graphic card. I downloaded a graphic card for my win7 which comprised the original win10 card. Once I went on *safe mode* and disabled that, my win10 started perfectly... I'm now enjoying using it. Thank you!
