Disconnect USB Devices
- Disconnect all USB devices from your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Reconnect the USB devices one by one to identify if a specific device is causing the issue.
Windows Update Troubleshooter
- Open Windows Settings (Press Win + I keys).
- Navigate to Update & Security.
- Select Troubleshoot -> Additional troubleshooters.
- Click on Windows Update and run the troubleshooter.
Manually Install HP USB Driver
- Download the latest HP USB driver manually from HP Support.
- Open Device Manager (Press Win + X and select "Device Manager").
- Locate the device under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
- Right-click on the device and select Update driver.
- Choose Browse my computer for driver software and navigate to the folder where you downloaded the driver.
Check for System File Corruption
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
- Wait for the scan to complete and follow any instructions provided.
