Hi @AkashBhosale,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP X200 wireless mouse is double-clicking and scrolling automatically, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check the Battery: Ensure the batteries are fresh and properly inserted. Sometimes weak or old batteries can cause erratic behavior.

Clean the Mouse: Dust or debris around the buttons or scroll wheel can cause these issues. Gently clean the mouse using compressed air or a soft cloth.

Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your mouse. You can check for updates through the Device Manager in Windows or HP’s website.

Adjust Mouse Settings:

  • Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse.
  • Check the settings under the Buttons tab and adjust the double-click speed.
  • Adjust the scroll settings under the Wheel tab.

Check for Interference: Ensure there are no other wireless devices nearby that could be causing interference.

Test on Another Surface: Sometimes the surface you use the mouse on can affect its performance. Try using it on a different surface or mouse pad.

Try Another USB Port: If you are using a USB receiver, try plugging it into a different port on your computer.

Check for Software Conflicts: Sometimes other software or drivers can cause issues. Boot your computer in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
