It sounds like your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 is having trouble connecting online. Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to get it back online.

Steps to Fix HP DeskJet Plus 4155 Offline Issue

Step 1: Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure the printer is powered on.
  • If using Wi-Fi, verify that the printer is connected to the correct network.
  • If using a USB cable, try reconnecting it securely.

Step 2: Restart the Printer and Router

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router to refresh the network connection.
  • Power the printer back on and check its status in the HP Smart app.

Step 3: Set Printer as Default

  • Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 and select Set as Default Printer.

Step 4: Update Printer Firmware

  • HP regularly releases firmware updates to fix connectivity issues.
  • Follow HP’s official instructions here to update your printer’s firmware.

Step 5: Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Remove the printer from Printers & Scanners in your device settings.
