HP Notebook - 15-bs075nr
Hacker got into laptop saw my bank information, passwords etc, then changed boot up screen name to something else and new password. Green screen frozen and cannot get into it at all. Help

Sorry to hear this, but there is nothing we can do from here about this for you.
The best course of action, since hackers are good at HIDING files, is to do a factory reset using external media.
If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.
The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.

The HP Cloud Recovery tool is supposed to make the recovery media for the specific laptop. So if it came with Win11 preloaded, the media will have that, also.

thank you I was able to download my photos and documents to a flash drive, the only issue now is that they created a name I cannot get into and made that name administrator and deleted me. My nephew was able to create a name but without admin credentials. It lets me sign in but not do any changes. I just want to set it back to factory settings any idea on how to get around it? Thanks for your help
