Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have a W2M88AU laptop with crashed disk.  Recovery partition is intact, but OS partition will not initialize.  Need a restore disk to initialize new disk drive.  Can't find it on HP site.

Hi:

 

Use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

 

Since your PC is not working, you can install the tool on another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer to create the recovery media.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
