HP ENVY 15-u010dx x360 Convertible PC (ENERGY STAR)

Laptop was fine yesterday, went to log on today and Windows would not boot. Ran hard drive extensive test and hard drive short test passed but the hard drive short DST check failed with failure ID code of 9G8873-7GXBSS-MFPV7F-60WQ03. Could you please tell me what the code shows as a failure.

Based on the information you posted, you will have to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

 

I recommend you replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
