I am getting the DST Check error too on my HP Envy 23-o014, and I am interested in the Fan comments you made.

My Fan sounds like a Jet Engine at times. Seems to be when I am running Photoshop for a long time.

My All-In-One still works fine, and I've only seen the error while performing Diags. The PC BSODd yesterday for the first time. That is what prompted the Diags.

for the first time. That is what prompted the Diags.

I am just about to buy a new HDD but noticed that you said that made no difference, and I'm thinking Motherboard.

If I'm hearing you right, you are saying that your machine doesn't even get to the Windows applications standpoint, right?

Thanks - Hoofus

Greetings @Hoofus

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are getting DST check error on your computer and the fan is making a loud noise, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Have you run a diagnostics on your computer?

Is your computer booting to the desktop?

Recommend you boot the computer to BIOS by tapping F10 repeatedly on startup.

Restore the BIOS settings to defaults.

Save and exit BIOS.

If you still get the DST error.

Shut down your computer.

Wait for a minute.

Turn the computer On and keep tapping F2 repeatedly on startup to Enter System Diagnostics.

Run a system test on your computer. Click here for assistance.

If any of the tests fail, please replace the failed component or contact our phone support team to check on the service options available for your computer.

To resolve any issues with the fan noise, try the steps suggested in this HP Article

Let me know if this helped.
