Product: HP Pavilion Laptop 17-ar0xx

Hello. I have this issue with my laptop this morning. When I tried to boot up the system, the screen disaplayed that I was missing the boot device, please install an operating system on your hard disk. So I went to system test and perform a fast test run. From there, I let the computer perform the test and I ran into an error.  It says:

Hard Drive Short DST Check: Failed

Failure ID: GLUC22-9JG9K8-MFPXG1-60W03

Product ID: 1KU52UA#ABA

Hard Drive 1 -Primary HDD Bay.

I don't understand what all of this mean. Can someone please help me?

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced. Is it still under warranty ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.
