Hi,
Anyone here that knows how to fisk a hard disk 301 error?
Do i need to order a new hard disk en if so, where can I buy the correct one? (For a Pavilion Dv6 - 6b20eb entertainment notebook).
And can I retreive my files from my broken hard disk?
Greetings,

Hi
301 is normally a Hard Disk Failure, a 24 character error code is sometimes given.

HI
The service guide lists compatible devices, and you should get as close as practicable to the original.
I won't tell you what to spend you hard earned pounds on, find a long waaranted trusted make like Seagate or Someone.
With the view to how to return it if it's a Lemon.
SSD or a spinning platter is your choice.
