Product: Probook 4440s

Hard disk not found. I tried restoring bios settings and hard setting the laptop but no luck. Says to install operating system.. please help

Sounds like the hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced. Is it recognized in BIOS? Have you used Diagnostics to test it?

HP Recommended

It seems to not recognize the hard disk in bios and claims that there isn’t a hard disk installed. I tried another hard disk, the one out of my other hp laptop that’s identical to it & works, and it does the same with it.
