I upgraded my BIOS to F.63 Rev.A
I have 2 hard drives one ssd and one hdd which is a Hitachi HTS547550A9E384 (JE3OA50A). They used to be both detected by BIOS in the boot order menu but after the BIOS update the Hitachi hdd is not detected anymore.
When I boot into grub the ls command won't show the hdd either.
But from linux the hdd works fine and passes all tests, as well as from the HP diagnostics which can be accessed by f2 when starting up.
I'm at a loss here. I'm sure it's a BIOS issue and I created another thread about downgrading the BIOS, which I haven't managed to do yet, but is there anything I can do besides that?
I have opened the case and unplugged the hdd, booted without it, then reinserted it but that didn't help.
