If I install windows 10 on my computer do I have to factory reset my pc again to get my HP default files back.

If your notebook came with W11 from HP and you want to install W10 on it, that would require a clean installation and you would only be able to install the W10 drivers and available software on the support page, and you would not be able to do an internal factory reset to W11.

But there is a way to factory reset the PC with a USB recovery drive, so make that first before attempting to install W10>

 

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
