I have an HP Model 15-bs192od. I replaced the hard drive with a Western Digital drive the same size (1TB). Since Windows 10 was installed on it when I bought it I have no OS. Who do I contact for the software?

You can use the following link to create installation media (USB, DVD ...)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10%20
Then boot from the media to install a fresh Windows 10 on your machine. Windows 10 will automatically activate when you come online the first time using the product key which is embedded in BIOS of your machine.
Regards.

Hi, @FritzHere
You can also use the HP cloud recovery tool on another PC running W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility...
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You will need to enter this product number in the recovery tool's window: 2UE54UA#ABA

I ran diagnostics and found that the ew drive was working. Then I used the link to HP to get a Windows OS and Windows 10 install. I downloaded to another computer, using a thumb drive. Before installing I verified that I had Windows 10 64 and then completed the install. Everything worked and it’s like having a new computer!
Thanks for the help!
