Hard drive ssd short dst check failed

All day it kept saying  automatic repair  but then when I do the test I get 

Hard driveSSD SHORT DST CHECK FAILED

Hi:

You will need to install a new 2.5" 500 GB hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" 500 GB solid state drive (SSD).

Since you have to replace the hard drive, you can upgrade the memory from 4 GB to 8 GB by removing the 4 GB memory chip and replacing it with an 8 GB memory chip.

After you replace the drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool which will create a bootable recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
