I need to physically locate my Hard Drive on my laptop, and after careful inspection after taking the back off I do not see the hard drive. Is it possible it is under the battery?

It does NOT have slot for HDD. Its hard drive is an M.2 solid-state drive, 2280, PCIe, nonvolatile memory express (NVMe) slot as shown (item #7):
Next to its battery

Thank you for your input, now I have another question,
I get a message when I login to my laptop that reads:
Boot Device not found heading reads
Boot Device not found.
Please install a operating system on your Hard Disk
Hard Disk ( 3FO )
F-2 System Diagnostics
Then it refers you to hp.com/go/3foharddisk era , but that takes me to HP
Go to HP Web Site: hp.com/go/3foharddiskerror
I am 85 years old and trying to get by using this laptop
