Please help! I cannot get past my computer restarting over and over and over and over. It keeps telling me it is repairing disk errors and doing an automatic repair (after I did a hard reset on it (due to me deleting a bunch of programs I shouldn’t have, mistakenly) on my brand new laptop...
i keep getting the blue blue screen error of “Your PC has encountered and error and needs to restart. It then proceeds to do the automatic repair, and then the blue screen wirh a scan code square with error code 0xc000021a, and then restarts the process all over again. I cannot get into safe mode, it has been doing this for days. I had to shut my laptop down, and every time I turn it back on, it just keeps doing this over and over and over. How do I fix this? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Try booting into Recovery partition to reinstall. Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This should open a startup menu where you have F11 System Recovery. Tap F11 key and follow this:
- On the Choose an Option screen, click Troubleshoot.Figure: Choose an option with Troubleshoot selected
- On the Troubleshoot screen, click Recovery Manager.Figure: Troubleshoot with Recovery Manager selected
- Under Help, click System Recovery.Figure: Help with System Recovery selected

Once you are back up and running I suggest that you make your Recovery Media. Usually requires a 16-32 gb flash drive. It can be invaluable in some instances of no-boot or hard drive failure:

I have both a 16g and 32g and also an external terabyte hard drive.
however, I spoke too soon actually...
when I did that yesterday, it seemed fixed at first, but my reinstalled Hp factory reset was missing so many “drivers and such” that my laptop wasn’t working correctly. So I had to do another reset, and it’s been stuck on the “software installing” screen for 15 hours now. I literally have no idea what to do. I think I can call HP support given that I have 90 days of tech support I think. This laptop is brand new. I am so disappointed with it so far. Sigh.

Yes-call HP for warranty support. Have your Serial number handy. It can be found on bottom of laptop, in BIOS and other places when you can start Windows..https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
