I did a hard reboot. I'm not sure if this was doing an auto window upgrade to 11 or not. Black screen with cursor only then a constant alarm sounded, so I rebooted again. I can't c alt d. At one point it said to quick checking drives hit any key. I tried and nothing happened. Then the screen went black again with no cursor. Then the alarm went off again. I cleaned the box after that removed dust. Any suggestions? I need my passwords off this machine. Thanks

This is a great example of why you should do regular backups --as now, there is likely no way for you to get that info unless you have saved those in files.
Why?
Because this indicates that the drive has failed to the degree that Windows will not even boot anymore.
You should read the info below about making a boot USB stick and see if that will boot the PC enough for you to find and retrieve files and folders you need:
If your PC can not boot into Windows, a way around that is to follow the instructions below to create boot media from Macrium Reflect (MR) that can be used to boot your PC even if the hard drive is not working:
1) Download and install Macrium Reflect (MR) from this link on a working PC: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
2) Use the option to create a boot USB stick or CD
That will create MR bootable media. Then, you can boot your PC into WinPE using that media.
Have patience, as that can take a while to start and bring up the screen.
Once the screen is there, read this thread about using PE Explorer -- a simple file explorer: https://forum.macrium.com/PrintTopic15803.aspx
If your disk still works, you might be then able to retrieve some files and folders from it.
Good Luck
