Hello,

Based on the following articles

HP investigating BIOS updates that leave premium laptop users in boot loop limbo

HP admits its latest BIOS update is bricking Windows 11 with BitLocker loop, blocking Secure Boot 20...

I am trying to find concrete information on the risk on the status of firmware updates being deployed via intune.

At the very least,  I need the format for "Driver Name" on Intune to be mapped with the installed bios version. As far as I am aware from the news sources that the following bios are affected: 01.03.11, 01.05.00.

On intune firmware updates are listed as "1.18.1.0", "3.5.5.0", "1.24.1.0".

Neither HP nor Microsoft seem to be forthcoming on advice for this. It appears I have to trust this update blindly.

Can anybody please advise how I can confirm the safety of each update?

Thank you
