Greetings!
Welcome to the HP Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand there's an issue while typing, and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution I'll need more details:
1) What is the product number of your computer? Use this link to find it.
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.)
2) Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?
3) When was the last time it worked without these issues?
In the meantime, let’s try these steps -
Solution#1 Hard Reset -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Remove the Battery.
Note - If you have a computer with an inbuilt battery, this step might not be applicable for you.
4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.
6) Try to turn on the computer.an
Solution#2 Re-install the Keyboard drivers -
1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Double-click Keyboards.
3) Right click on the keyboard drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
If the issue still persists, please run a keyboard test -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F2 once.
4) Go to Component test.
5) From the list, run the Keyboard test.

Hope this helps!
Let me know how that goes.
