Hello HP Support Team,

My HP laptop is locked with a BIOS Administrator / Power-On Password.

After three wrong attempts, the message "System Disabled [i 55273120]" appears on the screen.

Could you please help me reset or remove the BIOS password?

I can provide the serial number or proof of ownership if needed.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi @Naima95,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out to HP Support. I understand that your HP laptop is locked with a BIOS Administrator or Power-On password, and you’re seeing the message “System Disabled [i 55273120]” after several incorrect attempts.

Unfortunately, for security reasons, HP cannot reset or remove BIOS passwords remotely.

If you’ve forgotten the BIOS password, the only way to restore access is to bring or send the laptop to an authorized HP service center. Once ownership is verified, the service team can assist in clearing the BIOS lock. Please note that this is considered a non-warranty, chargeable service, as password resets fall outside standard warranty coverage.

If you’d like, we can help you locate your nearest authorized HP service center or arrange for repair pickup. Please share your country/region in a private message (not publicly) so we can guide you accordingly.

Take care and have an amazing day!
