Hi Guys, I am next to sell my laptop so I wanted to recover and delete all my data so the future owner have near zero access to any data that's belonged to me But when I try the recovery option within the recovery panel I get the frustrating message:

"There Was A Problem Resetting Your PC"

A little backstory. I few months ago I decided to try some linux distro and got a dual boot with that things called "GRUB" or something similar. I gave it a shot and I didn't like it so I deleted the partition on my HDD and it was over. The boot was handled by my the BIOS and I've had no problem at all, its just something that I can thing is causing troubles when trying to reset my computer.

PLS help guys!

Hello @JakeDaDoggy

The Windows recovery partition is corrupted or unusable. Follow the steps in the attached PDF file (below) to learn how to reinstall Windows and delete the data on your drive.

If you just want to delete the data, there are other ways. But it would be nice to also deliver a usable PC with an active operating system to the new owner.

Let me know how it goes.
