Previous support on case [edited] was closed as I needed to obtain a flash drive with enough memory. I have the memory now and I am ready to download what was needed from the previous support to the flash drive, but not able to obtain any assistance,

Hi @Justin217,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for your follow-up regarding your HP ENVY x360 15.6-inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC (15-ey1000, Product Number: 794B6AV). We're glad to hear you've now obtained a flash drive and are ready to proceed with the HP Cloud Recovery process.

To move forward, please ensure you have the following:

Requirements:

  • A blank USB flash drive with at least 32 GB of storage (no files on it).
  • Access to another Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC with an internet connection.

🛠️ Steps to Begin Cloud Recovery:

  1. On your working Windows 10/11 PC (such as your Samsung laptop), visit the following link:
🔗 HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
  2. Download and install the HP Cloud Recovery Tool.
  3. Insert your 32 GB USB drive into the PC.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions in the tool to create your recovery media.
  5. Once complete, insert the USB drive into your HP laptop and boot from it to start the recovery process.

💡 Tip: If your HP laptop doesn’t automatically boot from the USB, you may need to press F9 at startup to select the boot device manually.

If you encounter any issues during this process or have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to assist you every step of the way.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
