Welcome to the HP English Community --
If someone you do not know has told you your computer is full of bugs, it is more than likely the culprit is trying to scam you.
Scams of this type of very common --
Rats and Thieves will tell you anything to gain access to your computer.
The rats will try to sell you software you do not need and steal whatever they can (money, identity, personal files and data).
These same scoundrels will claim you must pay for HP drivers and software.
HP will never cold-call you one the phone.
HP will not try to squirm into your computer.
Your computer is not full of bugs and you do not need "Protection Software" or services.
This is not the big city in the 1930s -- the bad guys are online.
Run Away.

Beware of Fake Sites
The "Real Deal"
123.hp.com - Printer setup from the HP® Official site
The official HP 123 site is where you can find the appropriate (and free) software and drivers for your printer.
There are many “fake” sites listed (in search engines) for “123” – please make sure you are using the actual “HP” site.
If you are asked for money to correct "issues" on your printer or computer OR if the “help” wants to sell you software, threatens you, or wants access to your computer, you are using a “fake” site. Do not give these people your information!

Important
- HP does not free-post HP Support numbers on the Internet. Not. Not in secret, not in chat, not in pop-ups, and not so a nice technician can call you back, sneak into your computer, and then tell you your computer is full of bugs.
- Be wary of any posted messages in the Community containing phone or email links – these are likely scammers who mean you harm.
- Please do not post any personal information in the Community. We are a public resource.
- Be very careful when out on the Internet looking for help - one little dot, space, or letter out of place can land you in trouble.
