What do you mean Recovery key ? For Windows product key, it is embedded in BIOS of your machine. Can you use your machine now ? If not, no worried you simply re-install Windows from
For Windows 11 : https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
For Windows 10 : https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
and system will activate automatically using the key in BIOS (and/or from MS).
You can find Windows key using

I've no clue what any of that means. My son's laptop is locked looking for a Bitlocker Recovery Key. Microsoft has directed us to HP as they were all preinstalled when we bought it new. We don't have the key, his microsoft account or one drive doesn't have the key. This key is a mystery!!! Can't find a number to talk to an actual person. The HP virtual assist can't help me. I'd just like a number for HP Ireland so I can remedy this before school starts.
