Hi. I have problems completing a hard reset on my HP Pavilion x2 detchable. It seems to get to 54% and will not go any further. It eventually gives up and says there is a problem resetting. Can anyone help me with this issue ? This computer will not run anything for me to proceed any other way. Thanks in advance.

Good morning and thankyou for wanting to help.
These are the answers to your questions with the best of my knowledge.
The computer was working last around 8 months ago. I had got frustrated with it not working suddenly and bought myself a new one. I now need something for my daughters school work and have tried to reserrect the HP note book as this would be perfect for her.
The operating system is Windows 10.
I have youtubed how to perform a hard reset and followed the instructions but although it goes through the procedure and shows the percentage of where it at it only reaches around 62% and takes forever stuck at this point. I have not had the patience to see if its gone past this point but when I've returned later it has a message saying " there was a problem resetting".
There has been no software or hardware changes made to this notebook only updates prompted by HP.
The only troubleshooting steps I have performed is the Hard reset suggested by Forums I've found online.
I hope this answers all the questions you need and thanks again for offering to help.
Kindest regards. Colin Burrows.
