Hp Spectre x2-12
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Spectre x2-12 consumes about 50% of the battery capacity when sleeping for 6 hours. This seems a little bit too much. I`ve generated a sleepstudy report that shows high activity in SoC Subsystems: NoHwDrips.C2.LTR_SATA, NoHwDrips.C2 and NoHwDrips.INTERNAL_BLOCKER.

I`d be happy for any hints on how to solve this.

@JnC

Most likely, that is due to Fast Startup being enabled --which is the default in Win10 unless you specifically go to the trouble to disable that.  It's a form of Hybrid Sleep -- actually, Hibernation -- and that consumes battery power.

There are two ways to disable FastStartup in Win10: (1) through the Control Panel, and (2) through an elevated command prompt.

Control Panel - Open Control Panel --> Power Options.
Select "Choose what the power buttons do"
Select "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
At the bottom of the Window, under Shutdown settings, uncheck the box regarding fast startup

Elevated command prompt - run the following command:
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power" /V  HiberbootEnabled /T REG_dWORD /D 0 /F

In both cases, reboot Windows.

Thanks for your reply. But Fast Startup is already disabled.
