You do not need a Key. Microsoft uses a new method to authenticate Windows 10. You can go to the Media Creation Tool site download and make a thumb drive for the same version of Windows 10 (likely Home 64 bit) install it and it will just activate. The activation servers "know" your computer. It has worked for me dozens of times.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After installing the bare OS drivers and some apps can be downloaded here.

Even after I wipe the hard drive?

Even so. Yes.

The biggest change of all is that the Windows 10 activation status for a device is stored online. After you successfully activate Windows 10 for the first time, that device will activate automatically in the future, with no product key required.

That's a huge change from previous versions of Windows, which required a product key for every installation.
