Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to boot to either a USB flash drive or a USB CD ROM.  I have Linux on my PC.  I was going to restore it back to Windows.  I cannot figure out how to boot to the USB devices.  I went into the bios.  I disabled secure boot.  I rebooted where it asked me to put the pin in that it shows on the screen to confirm I'm disabling uefi.  I put the usb hard drive and usb dvd rom above os boot manager.

The BIOS says "When Legacy Support is enabled, UEFI boot order and Legacy boot order are both available and UEFI boot order has a higher priority than Legacy boot order."

So, reading that, sounds like putting the usb drive first in the boot order doesn't make a difference.  UEFI will always take precedence.

Everything I've tried, I reboot and it just boots to the OS.  If I tap F9, the thumb drive or DVD ROM isn't there to select.  I have tried both USB ports.

These are my settings.  Doesn't make sense.  A few weeks ago, I made a bootable usb drive to boot to clonezilla to make a backup image of my hard drive and it worked fine.  I created the Windows USB drive and the Windows DVD using the microsoft windows media creation tool.

Hello @davidortenn1979

(1) Change and save BIOS settings

Security:
--- TPM State [Disabled]

Configuration:
--- Virtualization Technology [Disabled]

Boot Options:
--- <Secure Boot> [Disabled]

Confirm digit pin on reboot

(2) Start computer enter Boot Menu F9 to select <USB flash drive>

(3) If it fails try different <USB flash drives> Type 2.0 and 3.0

(4) Please report your results
