I used to have an old HP laptop and then bought the HP Pavilion x360 14-dy0015na Convertible Laptop - Core™ i3 and the photos etc are connected to both laptops, I want to factory reset my old laptop but because it's shared I do not know how to factory reset my old laptop without deleting from my new laptop. eg if i take a photo from my new laptop, it also appears in my old laptop

The way this is done, to share files across devices, is that you use a MSN (online) login and you share your stuff between devices.  I believe that if you remove the old laptop from the shared devices, then the files will no longer be affected by that device.
