I own an HP 14-cf2000 Laptop PC (552L9AV) running Windows 11. Recently, I’ve encountered an issue where the laptop battery has stopped charging altogether. Unfortunately, the warranty for this device has already expired.

I have tried basic troubleshooting steps like checking for loose connections and running diagnostics, but the problem persists. I'm hoping someone in the community might guide me on how I can resolve this issue. Specifically:

• How can I check if the battery itself is faulty and needs replacing?

• • Are there recommended steps for obtaining a compatible replacement battery?

If after reading chapters 4 & 5 of the service manual and watching the video, if you don't feel comfortable doing the work yourself, take your notebook to a reputable local PC repair shop or the Best Buy Geek Squad and have them install the new battery for you.
