How can I restore Recovery Manager? The is no path to the Recovery Manager programm.
I open the link associated with the launch of the Recovery Manager on laptop, because she did not work,
and can't find the path: Microsoft.Windows.Resources.ShellExecuteTopicIcon, from its description.
The Recovery Manager is not work and I can't restore the C:\windows\system32\connect.dll, that is required to fix the error (0x800706BA). GUID of component: {7071ECA3-663B-4BC1-A1FA-B97F3B917C55}

If your PC, as you indicate, is really STILL running Vista -- then you are out of luck.
HP stopped supporting Vista some years ago, as did Microsoft, so there are no downloads available for this ancient OS anymore.
Time to consider upgrading to a more recent OS and PC.
