On the HP support website page, I can't select the Windows 11 operating system (only Windows 10) to view/download BIOS updates.
I'm currently using version F.53, dated December 13, 2019.
Windows support informed me that due to the outdated BIOS, I can't install an important Windows update.

@frankjb75,

 

If you try to update BIOS via HP Support Assistant or by running a BIOS update file (spxxxx) in Windows, BIOS update actually takes place in the EFI environment which is outside of Windows.

 

Therefore, you can download a BIOS update file under W10 and run it in W11. See this related thread.
