Update - Edit - Add example - Device Manager

Welcome to the HP Community --

SIM card requires that the computer hardware includes the WWAN module .

The WWAN module is an optional purchase.

The SIM card requires that it be able to contact a Provider - for example, AT&T or other provider - to access Mobile services

Find the necessary WWAN model in the Device Manager

Expand the network adapters section.

Control Panel > icon view > Device Manager

Tab View > Check Show hidden devices

Open and expand Network Adapters

Check for the LTE  / Mobile Broadband Atapter

Example - Device Manager > View by Type and Show Hidden > Network Adapters > LTE / WWAN module

Device_Manager_Network_Adapter_Mobile_Broadband_Adapter_WWAN_1

Reminder

The SIM card will not work without the WWAN module.
