Hello all:

When the w10 boot-up or updating or changing, it often shows/reminds you the processing,

such as: Welcome, waiting, shutting down, ...........

All the "REMINDINGs" of my w10, are all in ENGLISH since the very beginning.

BUT, during the pasted many years, these "REMINDINGs" changed into "CHINESE"

gradually!!

How can I change them back into ENGLISH??!!

   Thanks!                              ---  Zhao

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting reminders in Chinese.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Are you getting this reminder after booting to Windows or before booting to Windows?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps to change the language in BIOS.

  1. Press ESC just after power-on, you get a startup menu.
  2. Press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
  3. Press F8 to display the language select menu.
  4. Select English from the available list of options.

In case if these reminders are in a different language after booting to Windows then follow the below steps.

  1. Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language.
  2. Choose a language from the Windows display language menu.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
