HP Laptop 14-bw0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This has been a problem for a while. I'm computer illiterate. I've lost access to certain aspects of my notebook. I can no longer download things. I cannot access my settings anymore. Worst yet, I cannot factory reset it to start from scratch. It continues to tell me that there is a problem keeping it from resetting. Please, somebody, help me!

Hi:

If the factory reset program isn't working, you can with another Windows PC with W7 64 bit or newer installed, make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

it would be the equivalent of a factory reset.

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool.
