Hi @Nikki1233,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that  you need to find your BitLocker recovery key, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Retrieve from Microsoft Account:

Example of the recovery key in a Microsoft account

Check Cloud Domain:

  • If your computer is connected to a work or school domain, contact your administrator to check if the recovery key is stored in your organization's domain account.

Use a USB Flash Drive:

  • If you saved the recovery key on a USB flash drive, connect it to your computer. The key might be saved as a text file on the drive.

Open a Local File:

  • The recovery key might be stored as a local text file on a secondary non-encrypted hard drive.

Printed Copy:

  • If you printed a copy of the recovery key, check where you keep important printed documents.
