Product: Elitebook 750

I have an Elitebook 750 that does not have a hard drive in it. I have a used hard drive that fits in this, but I don't know how to format it to work with this laptop. And if that won't work, can I buy a blank hard drive, or one with windows installed, and use it in this computer? If not, how do I get it to work again?

Normally a fresh install Windows from a boot-able USB or DVD will format the hard drive. Is it a brand new HDD ?

It is not a brand new HDD. I have two hard drives that may work. One is an older HDD from another laptop and the other is a brand new one. How do I get a boot-able USB that has windows installed??
