HP Recommended

My warranty expired last year, but I'm trying to learn about the care pack option. It shows I can purchase after the original warranty has expired, but I don't understand if it covers my specific laptop. Also, if I'm reading correctly, the care pack should cover accidental spills? Water was possibly spilled onto the computer and now it no longer turns on.

It is not possible to buy a post-warranty care pack for a defective laptop. The laptop must be fully functional to buy a care pack.
