Hello again.  I think I have discovered the problem why Windows 7 would not install.  I believe the hard drive has went out.  I did the scan on the hard drive, both the fast and extended and it failed both.  I can run Ubuntu on it from a flash drive and when I try to check out the hard drive it can't find it.  I guess I will be ordering a new hard drive from Amazon and I am thinking Windows 7 will install.  Thanks for all the help you gave me!  I really appreciate it!

Please let us know the outcome after you replace the HDD.

 

I was surprised you couldn't get W7 to install with the disk/USB drive you made.

Okay, ordered and replaced the HDD and installed Windows 7 without any problems at all!  Worked great!  Windows is already activated and everything is working smoothly!  All the help you gave me really paid off and I appreciate it so much!  Thank you again for all the time you took to help me!
