My SSD failed and I can't get my computer up and running without the recovery software.  I did a search for it under drivers and software but it's not listed.  It seems my only options are to pay HP to talk to them so that I can order the recovery software.  Is this right?

If not, how do I go about ordering?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Hi:

If you have another PC, you can make your own recovery media for the cost of a 32 GB USB flash drive.

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

Since you will have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is:  7QS79UA#ABA
