Before I attempted the reset, my keyboard wasn't working properly. When I pressed certain keys, they would stick and type that letter/character repeatedly. Other keys won't even work. This is giving me problems trying to reset. My mouse pad barely works as well. I was hoping that a reset might solve this issue. I went through a reset process and now I don't even see the option in troubleshooting to reset.

Hello @Jamielove787

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

With an investment of less than 20 $ you may be able to test if it's the keyboard/mousepad (a.k.a. hardware issue) or this is caused by a software problem.

All you need is to purchase external USB keyboard  and  an external USB mouse

These can be purchased from any local tech store or big online IT store.

When you get them, just plug them into the PC and start using them. If the PC is stuck again when using the fresh new keyboard, this will mean software issue. If not, this will confirm hardware problem on the original built-in keyboard. Same for the mouse.

By the way, are you able to boot into Windows desktop now ?  Could you elaborate on and provide details about what you mean by "I went through a reset process and now I don't even see the option in troubleshooting to reset. "
