Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
My new HP Pavilion came with bitlocker enabled. I would like to disable it but there is no option to do so in the Control Panel. I do see the option in Settings. Is there anything I have to do other than select turn it off?
Edit: the option is Settings is for device encryption. I'm not sure how that differs from Bitlocker encryption.

I turned off "device encryption" in settings. It took 30-40 minutes but it went off without a hitch.
