@Edwardo86, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP ProBook 6570b.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

When you encounter the "Boot Device Not Found - Hard Disk 3F0" error message on your HP ProBook 6570b, it indicates that the system is unable to detect a bootable drive. Here are step-by-step instructions to help you resolve this issue:

  1. Restore BIOS Default Settings:
  2. Turn off the computer and wait for five seconds.
  3. Press the power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  4. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  5. Press F10 to save the settings and exit.
  6. Use the arrow keys to select "Yes," and then press "Enter" when asked "Exit Saving Changes?"
  7. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

  8. Update the BIOS:

  9. Ensure your BIOS is updated to the latest version. You can do this by going to the HP support document for your specific model. Follow the instructions to download and install the latest BIOS.

  10. Perform the Hard Drive Symptom Test in HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI:

  11. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  12. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu is displayed, press the F2 key.
  13. On the main menu, click "Symptom Tests."
  14. Select "Hard disk/SSD drive issue," and then press "Enter." If your computer has more than one hard drive, select the drive to test or select "Test All Hard Drives."
  15. If the hard drive passes the Quick Test but there is still a problem, run the Extensive Test for more thorough diagnostics.
  16. If the hard drive fails a test, make a note of the failure ID and contact HP Customer Support.

  17. Reinstall Windows on the Hard Drive:

  18. If needed, please refer to HP support documents for steps to reinstall Windows using Windows Recovery or HP Cloud Recovery Tools.

Additional Notes:

  • If the steps above do not resolve the error, there may be a physical issue with the hard drive or a faulty connection. Consider checking the hard drive cables and connections, or replacing the hard drive.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
