Hi! Does anyone know how myHP's Performance Control Profiles (smart sense, cool, quiet, performance...) interact with the Windows Power Plans (best power efficiency, balanced, best performance)?
For example, if I set Windows Power Plan to "Best Performance", but set myHP profile to "Quiet", which settings (i.e. CPU speeds, limits, fan speed) are determined by which profile? (screenshots below for reference)
In addition, should we be worried about the consequences of enabling conflicting profiles, since the windows power plan has the CPU running full throttle, but the HP profile is throttling the CPU?

Windows controls the level of aggressiveness at which the OS will ask for performance. Hp will control the amount of performance and cooling that will be allowed for the platform depending on it's specifications. They won’t conflict with each other in any way. You can adjust them safely as per your usage.
