Hello All:
The McAfee in my w10 is approaching expiry date.
What should I handle this question? Continue/buy it or change a new one
or look for a free-one or stop using or .......
Could you tell me the usual way of our friends who are using the w10? -- Zhao

Hi:
Renewing the McAfee subscription is up to you.
I use the free built in Windows antivirus/antispyware program that is part of W10.
If you want to do that too, uninstall the mcafee software, restart the PC and then turn on windows defender.
You may want to use the mcafee uninstaller tool to uninstall mcafee.

Hello Paul:
I want to use MS build-in AV instead of McAfee. May I use the following steps:
(1) Control Panel > uninstall a program > (uninstall) McAfee LifeSave.
(2) Restart PC.
(3) Turn on MSASCui.
In the way above, I don't need to use McAfee uninstall method. Is it OK?
