My laptop got hit accidentally ( not a major one ) and I am getting automatic repair could not fix your pc.I think I might have crashed the hard disk .So I want to know how much it would cost to replace the original hard diskdisk with original one of same configuration.

Hello, you can verify if your hard drive is dead. For this, restart your computer by tapping F2 when it is been down for restart. You come in HP Hardware Diagnostic Interface and can execute the hard disk quick test, and if you have any error the extended test.

If you have been an error, you can try to restart your PC, in your Windows error screen you can go to "troubleshoot" and "advanced options" to try to restore your PC to a previous state for example, or uninstall last updates.
If any option can work, you can try to restore your PC to factory state (erase all datas). For this, restart your PC when taping F11 key and use "recovery manager" option.

If it doesn't work, you need to buy a new hard drive. You have a 1 Tb SATA 2.5 inch hard drive same this:

After replace, you need to reinstall Windows to your new hard drive. If you don't have any recovery media, you can try to create HP Recovery Media with this tool:

And if it Is not available for your PC, you can create a media with Microsoft tool and install HP driver after Windows:

Download Windows 10 - microsoft.com
