Product: HP Envy x360 15.6"
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to know how old my HP Envyx360 15.6" is. The  I purchased it back in 2017 and it was been working good for me although, it has been acting a bit slow even with the updates. Can anyone help me see how old the laptop is. I am considering on purchasing a new laptop because the hinges on the left have already detached once and im scared it will continue to do it even though I have gotten it fixed once already. If anyone can help me, that would be highly appreciated.

Hi:

 

Look at the serial number.

 

The 4th, 5th and 6th characters will be numbers.

 

The 4th character will be the year of manufacture.

 

If you bought it new in 2017, the 4th character should be a 6 (2016) or 7 (2017).

 

The 5th and 6th characters are the calendar week of production ranging from 01 - 52.
