I am new to the community and recently started using an HP notebook. I would like to ensure that my operating system and drivers are properly configured. At the moment, the laptop is working fine, but I am unsure: How to check the exact version of the installed operating system How to confirm whether all drivers are correctly installed How to safely update drivers without causing system issues I want to make sure the system is fully optimized and ready for regular use. Any step-by-step guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. About me

Just run windows update and it will installed latest available drivers and windows version automatically when available. You don't have to do anything else to keep it optimize. You can optimize windows by uninstalling unwanted application, process, services of needed. Many good youtube videos available on it.

You can try installing latest GPU driver from Amd/Nvidia/Intel driver site as per your GPU. Although its not that important and needed unless you play games or facing any issue with current version as windows update install the most stable and recommended one already.
